Advantages of oxy fuel combustion:
1. The glass melting quality is good because of the full oxygen combustion. The content of H2O in the combustion products is as high as about 50%, which increases the OH content in the glass liquid, reduces the glass viscosity, and is conducive to clarification and homogenization. The flame does not change phase, the temperature is stable, and the flame blackness is large and the radiation ability is strong. The combustion products stay in the furnace for a long time. Compared with the air combustion supporting furnace, the temperature of liquid glass can be increased by about 100 ℃, and the melting capacity can be increased by about 10%.
2. The total amount of combustion products is greatly reduced, reducing the heat taken away by waste gas, and the energy-saving effect is obvious. And the combustion products only contain CO2 and H2O, reducing the emission of NO 2 and environmental pollution. Achieve the effect of energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection.
3. The full oxygen furnace has low construction cost and long service life. The all oxygen furnace has no heat storage chamber and is only a melting part structure, with small floor area and low furnace investment cost. The flame of the oxy furnace is sprayed at the bottom of the fuel, so the combustion temperature at the bottom of the flame is very high, and the relative temperature at the upper part of the flame is low, which plays a great role in protecting the furnace arch and prolonging the service life of the furnace.
